Agree with Tim. Its too easy to qualify now and we essentially have a group stage of exhibition games. Results that should feel huge are now massively undercut and upsets mean very little.

  4. Leipzig have 'have absolutely gifted' Man City a goalpublished at 20:45 GMT

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Man City

    Lucy Ward
    Former Leeds striker on TNT

What on earth was Lukeba doing there? That has given Man City the shot in the arm that they needed because it looked like they were going into half-time not being able to get the better of Leipzig. Martín Demichelis will be thinking they were doing so well, defending well and keeping them at arms length, and then they have absolutely gifted them a goal.

Lukeba trying to clear it but it's coming at such pace, and because he didn't get it right he just bumbles it into the back of the net.

  8. 'Whenever they go forward, they look dangerous'published at 20:43 GMT

    Slavia Prague 0-2 Arsenal

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

Arsenal have not been great tonight by their standards, and have looked a bit susceptible at the back, but whenever they go forward, they look dangerous. It was a lovely finish by Gyokeres for their second goal

You can hear more from Warnock on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

  9. Postpublished at 20:42 GMT

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Man City

Leipzig just need to be a bit careful that that goal doesn't derail them. Again Nico O'Reilly gets to the byline and this time offers Erling Haaland a first opportunity to get on the end of it but the big Norwegian can't make a clean connection with the header.

  12. 'Gyokeres has come alive'published at 20:40 GMT

    Slavia Prague 0-2 Arsenal

    Martin Keown

Viktor Gyokeres just opens up his body beautifully. It opens up the angle and it's an emphatic finish.

    Wow. He's come alive.

You could see his confidence lifting as he was linking up with his teammates and what a finish.

  14. goal

GOAL - RB Leipzig 0-1 Man Citypublished at 20:40 GMT

Castello Lukeba (own goal, 37 mins)

    Oh dear.

Well Leipzig have been on top but they've put the ball in the wrong net.

Nico O'Reilly gets to the byline and cuts the ball back. Castello Lukeba is sliding in to try and make the block but he ends up guiding it into the back of his own net.

A gift for City, who have not been up to scratch so far.

I really find this new format for the CL uninspiring. You end up in the same place but with much less clarity, much less sense of jeopardy and more outmatched teams.

  18. 'City have to change something'published at 20:38 GMT

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Man City

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Man City defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

City have had tonnes of possession so far, but only one shot.

Leipzig look much more dangerous on the counter and City will have to change something to get their key players into the game. They aren't exactly flat, but they are lacking the intensity they need.

You can hear more from Onuoha on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

I don't get the Enzo Fernandez price and signing, even as a City fan, he doesn't offer enough of anything. We cannot play him, Foden and Cherki away from home in Europe.

    Slavia Prague 0-1 Arsenal

Slavia have their first chance of the game as David Zima flicks a cross onto Tomas Holes, who pokes his shot wide.

A warning for Arsenal, who have had all the play.
