There hasn't been loads of fireworks but I think it has been quite even. Both teams will be wanting to come out, especially Man City, home ground. I think in the second half we might see a few changes because they need a bit more intensity in their play and a few more connections, especially in the middle of the park.

Rebecca Knaack's header - the final kick of the first-half - was Manchester City's only shot on target.

Paris St-Germain have done an excellent job of keeping Khadija Shaw quiet. She's only had three touches in their box.

    HT: Man City 0-0 PSG

We're lacking goals in Manchester, but there have been plenty elsewhere this evening.

Earlier on, Juventus claimed a commanding 4-1 win over Austria Wien, while Hacken scored an injury-time equaliser to hold Paris FC to a 1-1 draw.

Barcelona are currently in action against HB Hoge, and the reigning champions lead at half-time thanks to goals from Caroline Graham-Hansen and Ewa Pajor.

Neither team really challenging the goalkeeper up until that last corner there but [for] PSG, so far so good. It's a tough place to come, away from home and City certainly need the win more than they do right now.

    Man City 0-0 PSG

Rebecca Knaak gets a head on the corner but she sends it straight into the arms of Oliwia Szperkowska.

And that will be that for the first half.

Let's hope the second-half has a bit more about it.

It's not quite clicking for City at the moment. Alex Greenwood shakes her head and has a conversation with Lauren Hemp after a wasteful pass flies way over her head and out for a throw-in.

Thiniba Samoura has gone down in the Manchester City box, clutching her face after being caught by Kerstin Casparij.

The referee waves play on and City keep the ball for a minute or two before the whistle finally goes to allow Samoura to receive some medical treatment.

Poor fare from two top teams. The ball is moved more backwards.

I think I speak for everyone when I say half-time can't come soon enough.

    It's been far from gripping.

Manchester City have been parked in their own half for the past five minutes, but Paris St-Germain are lacking a bit of conviction with the press and there's no real sense of danger for the hosts.

Paris St-Germain head coach Paulo Cesar is very vocal in the dugout. His voice is carrying across the stadium as he urges his players to press City.

Samoura did so well then because she knows and can probably feel Shaw breathing down the back of her neck. She knows her keeper can't come from it, she knows she can't get too much on it. She has to make that and she does.

    Good defending from Thiniba Samoura.

She knew Khadija Shaw was on her shoulder so she opts for safety and heads the ball out for a Manchester City corner, which comes to nothing.

It feels a bit flat. There's not much noise from the crowd and there hasn't been much to cheer about for either side.

    A goal wouldn't go amiss.

City will probably be the happier of the two but neither are really challenging the opposition goalkeeper.

Sakina Karchaoui tried to make room on the edge of the box to get a shot away, but a poor touch from the PSG captain rolls through to Lea-Laetitia Morissaint, who wastes no time in taking aim.

She caught it well, but it drifts just wide of the left post.

Aoba Fujino will be angry that she didn't get a shot away there. Kerstin Casaprij did well to make sure the ball stayed in play and send it back into the danger zone, but Fujino takes too long and PSG clear their lines.

City have definitely had the better chances and have started the game quite well which will please Andree Jeglertz.

He's been calling for them to start quicker in games. But they need to take advantage. PSG look dangerous on the break and the fans need a pick up in the cold.
