  1. Gateshead sign striker Eguaibor on two-year deal

    David Eguaibor has signed a two-year deal with Gateshead

    Irish striker David Eguaibor has joined Lee Cattermole's Gateshead on a two-year deal from Scottish League One side Cove Rangers.

    Eguaibor, 22, scored 11 goals in his one season with Cove following his move from Irish side Cobh Ramblers.

    He told the National League club website: "When I went to Scotland, I learned a lot. I learned fast as well and hopefully I can bring that here, score goals and get regular game time as well.

    "I can't wait to get started. I just want to come in, score goals and work hard."

  3. Harrogate sign Boro midfielder Johnson on loan

    Harrogate Town have signed Middlesbrough midfielder Brayden Johnson on a season-long loan deal.

    The 20-year-old joined Boro from non-league Eastbourne in January 2025.

    He ended last season on loan with Kidderminster in National League North and made 10 appearances as they won promotion.

    He could make his debut for Simon Weaver's men, who have won both of their National League games this season, in Saturday's home game against Barrow.

  4. Hornchurch co-owner and CEO Hammond leaves club

    Hornchurch co-owner and chief executive Mark Hammond has stepped down from his roles at the National League club for personal reasons.

    "This has not been an easy decision," he told Hornchurch's website.

    "However, at this point in my life, I need to prioritise my family and personal circumstances, and I believe stepping away from my position is the right decision for both myself and those closest to me.

    "Although my time at Hornchurch has been shorter than I originally anticipated, I am proud to have played a part in an important period for the club as it prepares for the opportunities ahead."

    The Urchins have won both of their opening matches in the National League since being promoted from National League South last season.

  5. AFC Fylde sign York midfielder Olley

    AFC Fylde have signed midfielder Greg Olley from League Two side York City.

    Olley, 30, helped York win the National League title last season and appeared as a substitute in the Minstermen's Carabao Cup loss to Crawley on 3 August.

    He previously spent seven seasons with non-league Gateshead.

  6. Defender Georgiou joins Woking on short-term deal

    Anthony Georgiou previously played for Ipswich Town on loan

    Woking have signed former Wealdstone and Tottenham academy defender Anthony Georgiou on a short-term deal.

    The left-back started his career with Spurs and had spells on loan at Ipswich Town and Bolton.

    He will feature in Woking's squad for Tuesday's game against West Bromwich Albion in the National League Cup.

  9. Carlisle sign Bristol City's Skinner on loan

    Carlisle United have signed Bristol City attacker Luke Skinner on a one-month loan.

    The 18-year-old has been part of the Championship side's academy since he was six years old and had loans at National League side Eastleigh and National League South clubs Bath City and Weston-super-Mare last season.

    He has yet to make a first team appearance for his parent club.

    "With Luke Armstrong currently unavailable, it's important that we have good cover in the attacking areas, and Luke gives us another option and adds competition for places," Carlisle boss Rob Elliot told the club website.

  10. Gateshead sign Lewis-Burgess from MK Dons

    Keon Lewis-Burgess had previous loan spells at AFC Dunstable, Banbury United and Billericay Town

    Gateshead have signed midfielder Keon Lewis-Burgess on loan until January from League One club Milton Keynes Dons.

    The 19-year-old has played six EFL Trophy games for the Dons but has yet to make his debut in the English Football League.

    He spent last season on loan with Billericay Town, making 31 appearances as they won promotion to National League South.

  11. Wealdstone sign striker Waweru on permanent deal

    Wilson Waweru has played for Cobh Ramblers, Sligo Rovers and Galway United in Ireland

    Wealdstone have signed striker Wilson Waweru on a permanent deal.

    The 25-year-old has spent his career in the League of Ireland, most recently at Cobh Ramblers.

    Waweru, who has also had spells at Sligo Rovers and Galway United, has spent the past few weeks training with the Stones.

    "Wilson has impressed us throughout pre-season with his movement, work rate and quality in the final third," manager Gary Waddock told the club website.

    "He gives us another strong attacking option and we're really pleased to have him with us."

  12. Scunthorpe sign Hull City striker Parker on loan

    Hugh Parker came to England after playing for UCD in the Republic of Ireland

    Scunthorpe United have signed Hull City striker Hugh Parker on a six-month loan deal.

    The 20-year-old Irishman joined the Tigers from University College Dublin in February 2025.

    He is yet to feature for the Premier League side but made 13 appearances in the National League during a loan spell with Carlisle United last season.
