Wow! Incredible start and Pakistan feel they can trouble England.

It's a beauty from Muhammad Abbas.

    FIRST BALL!

Pakistan believe. There are fielders running everywhere.

It's a beauty from Muhammad Abbas that straightens from round the wicket to take a thin edge of Ben Duckett's bat.

Muhammad Abbas has the ball in hand. What will today bring?

To be honest I think that anything worse than 131-2 will be a bit of an embarrassment for England.

Pakistan have to think about winning this. They can't draw. They have to constantly attack England here.

If Pakistan are looking for a bit of history to increase their belief then there is one very obvious comparison.

Australia were chasing 130 in the iconic 1981 Ashes Test at Headingley, when Ian Botham and Bob Willis combined to secure one of England's greatest wins.

    England's target today? 130...

Razaullah has beaten the myth. He came here two days before the Test match, straight into a game in England and then he's beaten the odds. Release him. Use that confidence he showed with the bat and ball.

If there was five overs left with Pakistan to bowl yesterday then it would've been more interesting with him going at England.

I'm just happy for Andy in Surrey who on day one didn't think he'd be using his day four tickets!

Yesterday was the first time this bowling attack was challenged and then they started looking leggy.

When you get your tactics wrong and you're not quite energised as a team then it's not great. It was Ben Stokes kind of day yesterday. If a team under him was going through what they did you know he'd get the ball in hand.

You're wondering who's going to take over that role. It's not easy to replace Stokes' edge but one of these players needs to step up.

  12. 'Out of control' - Cook questions England tacticspublished at 10:46 BST 12 September

Former England skipper Sir Alastair Cook, a man who has been in Joe Root's shoes before, said the situation was "out of control".

"You can get done by the tail - it's very hard when people have the license and ability to hit sixes," Cook told Test Match Special. "What I saw was no plan, it got out of control.

"That's when you need the backroom staff and coaches to step up. I would loved to have seen a message and some real leadership from the coaches."

England will win with five wickets down.

    Pete, Keighley

England to lose by five runs would be a good watch.

There has been plenty of praise for Razaullah's batting last night but fallout to England's bowling and tactics too.

It did seem like they lost the plot a touch when banging the ball in halfway down.

    Aggers was not impressed...

Pakistan are going to have to have England 10-2 to send some jitters through the changing room.

    Prediction time.

How and when does this finish?

England without losing a wicket? Pakistan by five runs in a thriller?

Let us know in the usual ways.

As my esteemed colleague Timothy Abraham writes, cancel the tee time at the Belfry, rearrange the trip to Cadbury World and abort the shopping jolly to the Bullring.

Pakistan's new star Razaullah ensured this Test summer reached Saturday.

Yesterday evening was one of the most remarkable passages of play in recent memory.

It has left England facing a testing chase of 130 this morning to seal their 3-0 series win.
