    The England opener brings up his fourth ODI hundred and in some style as he sends a short ball from Gurnoor Brar to the boundary through mid-wicket.

    Ben Duckett looks to be batting a little more cautiously as he closes in on three figures. He's now just three runs away.

    Slightly surprised Root came in after Bethell went. Think a more automatically attacking batter would have made more sense. England need to seriously step up the scoring rate- current rate won’t win the game. Not even close.

    There is a huge appeal from Prasidh Krishna and his India team-mates after Joe Root is struck on the pad.

    The replay shows a clear inside edge though, and Root survives.

    Another delivery thuds into the England batter's pad at the end of the over - no bat involved this time - but India decide against a review.

    Joe Root goes for the drive but misses as the ball whistles past the outside edge of his bat before handing the strike back to Ben Duckett.

    Duckett pulls the penultimate ball of the over for four and repeats the shot off the final delivery with the same result.

    He moves to 89 as England go past 200.
