This has been an excellent sixth-wicket partnership between Jack Haynes (76*) and Liam Patterson-White (40*).
They have reached their joint 100 fluently, off 128 balls, and have looked to accelerate in recent overs.

Leicestershire's 60 v Essex at Chelmsford saves Surrey from having the lowest total.
Rohan Chahar tries another big shot but is caught in the deep by James Wharton and Jack White joins Ben Coad on three wickets.
It's a first innings lead of 102 for Yorkshire which looks huge in the context of the game.

Auqib Nabi gets a leading edge off Ben Coad and the ball is skied to Sam Whiteman at mid off.
Compton c Lategan b Taylor 0 (Kent 238 & 11-1 v Worcestershire 217)
Poor shot from Ben Compton.
Tom Taylor bowls it very wide of the left-hander's off stump but instead of watching it go through to Henry Cullen, Compton pushes at it a long way from his body.
It just loops out to Dan Lategan at cover point. Catching practice really.
Not the best start for the home side.

It's been a good innings from the Notts man, who has steadied the ship nicely after his side lost four wickets in the morning session.

He gets a fine edge through to Brooke Guest off Martin Andersson.

Flintoff b Sharma 2 (Middx 247 v Lancs 35-4)
Rocky Flintoff has played all around that and lost his off stump as Lancs' wobble gathers oscillation.
Naavya Sharma, headband on looking for all the world ike a Bon Jovi tribute act, has sent this down at not more than medium pace.
But Flintoff has just got his line wrong and a hint of movement has proved enough.

Gloucestershire reach the 200 mark off 72 overs. James Bracey called for grit from his teammates to reach the 200 mark, and we have certainly seen that today.
Bracey is 113* and has spear-headed the innings, but has also had crucial support from Ed Middleton (17), Sai Kishore (20) and Will Williams (27*).
Barnard b Abbott 8 (Hants v Warks 285-5)
Kyle Abbott strikes again with the new ball. Ed Barnard plays down the wrong line and the bails are knocked over.
In his 40th year Abbott remains one of the best bowlers in the land.

An important partnership for the defending champions, who have reached the half-century off 70 balls.
Patterson-White's development into a genuine all-rounder over the last 24 months has been welcome for Notts.

Loose outside the off stump from the left-hander. Easy for Ollie Robinson behind the sticks.

Not much doubt about this for all that Marcus Harris goes walkabout in order to alter the optics.
This is right in front of middle and leg and Ryan Higgins has a first wicket.
Pope c sub (Cliff) b Revis 21 (Surrey 56-6 v Yorks 185)
A real bonus for Yorkshire.
Ollie Pope, who had played some fine shots, chases a wide one from Matthew Revis and plays it straight into the covers where sub fielder Ben Cliff takes a straight forward catch.
Nicholls c Ingram b Crane 19 (Somerset 212-4 v Glam 194)
Henry Nicholls is looking to sweep from well outside off and takes a top edge on to his pad which loops up to first slip where Colin Ingram takes the catch.
Somerset have wobbled here from 208-2 with a Tom Lammonby century looking written in the stars, they have lost two in six balls.
Kent 0-0 & 238 v Worcestershire 217
After securing a 21-run lead thanks to an excellent morning and post-lunch burst, Kent safely negotiate the first over of their second innings from Tom Taylor.
After Worcestershire were 125-2 yesterday, the home side would have bitten yours, mine, and probably everyone at the St.Lawrence Ground arms off to be in this position.
Yes, that's a lot of arms but they have a great platform now.
