There aren't many times in sport that you can go out and end your career in perfect fashion but Katie Taylor has just done exactly that.

Before the bell had stopped ringing Brian Peters her promoter, manager and friend was in the ring, and slightly behind him by about an inch was Bridget Taylor, her beloved mother, who has been there for thick and thin and every roller coaster ride.
