    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

    Natasha Jonas
Two-weight world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live

I gave Zachenhuber four rounds and one as a draw so potentially he could have got five rounds there.

He wasn't convincing or hard hitting but he was the one initiating and throwing the shots. Hamzah was standing still for a long time not doing anything.

  2. Round twelvepublished at 22:57 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

There are loud whistles from the crowd in the 12th and final round.

They are clearly disappointed from what they have seen from Sheeraz tonight.

The WBO champion almost connects late on with an upper cut, but Zachenhuber does well to avoid it.

It is not the way Sheeraz would have pictured his first super-middleweight title defence going.

  3. 'Underwhelming'published at 22:54 BST 25 July

There is absolutely no urgency. I wonder if Sheeraz is coming down with something?

This is a really underwhelming on a performance on a stage where he had to be overwhelming and send a message to the best super-middleweights in the world.

  4. Is Fury making a last minute appearance?published at 22:53 BST 25 July

Tyson Fury's manager Spencer Brown, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "I have told everybody that he is not coming in to he building. He has gone home to see his wife and children. I have been telling everybody that for two days.

"If he comes in here now it will be an apparition, a hologram - it won't be him. I have just spoken to him, he is nearly home and looking forward to seeing his children."

  5. Round elevenpublished at 22:52 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

Fair play to Zachenhuber, he is refusing to give up.

The German is still throwing - and landing - shots to the body in an attempt to up the pace of the fight. However, he is struggling to find a way to get beyond the reach of Shareez.

For two fighters with a combined 37 career knockouts, there has been a serious lack of firepower tonight.

  6. Round tenpublished at 22:48 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

We are into the final nine minutes of the fight and Sheeraz, still controlling the ring, seems happy to play it smart and see this one out on points.

Zachenhuber, meanwhile, will have to find a 19th KO of his career if he is to somehow win this one.

  7. 'Rounds are slipping away from Sheeraz'published at 22:45 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

    Natasha Jonas
Two-weight world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live

As comfortable as Sheeraz is looking, some of the rounds are slipping away. He is never going to be hurt but he still might be losing some of them.

  8. Round ninepublished at 22:44 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

Sheeraz lands a clean upper cut on Zachenhuber early in the round.

It is a reminder to the German of the power that Sheeraz unleash at any moment.

Zachenhuber, though, is refusing to be beaten down and responds with a couple of neat combinations.

  9. 'I expected more from Sheeraz'published at 22:42 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

    Steve Bunce
Boxing expert on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is a very odd fight.I didn't imagine for a second we'd be at the eighth round with Sheeraz looking for a particular shot.

I am really quite shocked with how this fight is going on. I expected a little bit more from Sheeraz.

  10. Postpublished at 22:41 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

Andy Lee tells Sheeraz he is "boxing well" and "looks great".

However, he says the Brit needs to throw more combinations, instead of just single shots.

  11. Round eightpublished at 22:40 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

Sheeraz's energy levels seems to be tailing off a little bit.

Why? I'm not entirely sure. Is it the fact he fought only nine weeks ago, or that he is unable to work out the best way to deal with Zachenhuber's approach?

Either way, there have been a few boos from the crowd in Saudi Arabia, who are expecting more from WBO champion Sheeraz.

It is another round where both fighters have offered very little.

Use 'Get involved' to have your say

If Anthony Joshua doesn't win this convincingly, he should forget about Tyson Fury. I am expecting this to be over by round three.

  13. Round sevenpublished at 22:36 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

Zachenhuber starts the round brightly and closes down the distance to Sheeraz.

He is throwing more than he did previously, but he is not causing Sheeraz any great difficulty.

It seems as though Sheeraz is searching for the right opening rather than putting his opponent to the sword.

I think that might be a first round of the night for Zachenhuber. Sheeraz offered very little.

  14. 'Sheeraz waiting to land a big shot'published at 22:32 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

    Natasha Jonas
Two-weight world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sheeraz is just walking Zachenhuber down. He has no respect for his power.

The shots fom Zachenhuber look a bit tired and Sheeraz is just waiting for the opportunity to land a big shot.

  15. Round sixpublished at 22:32 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

We are approaching the halfway point of the fight and already it seems as though Zachenhuber is in survival mode.

The German has his gloves guarding his face, leaving Sheeraz to unleash a flurry of heavy shots to the body.

Sheeraz inflicts more pain on Zachenhuber by landing a pair of hooks to the face.

  16. Postpublished at 22:28 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

Andy Lee tells Sheeraz to open up the left side of Zachenhuber.

  17. Round fivepublished at 22:28 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

It is clear that Sheeraz has plenty of respect for Zachenhuber's ability as he is taking no risks in this fight.

Zachenhuber is throwing more, but Sheeraz is countering swiftly and with precision.

Zachenhuber looks tired and worn down as he makes the walk back to his corner.

  18. Postpublished at 22:25 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

    Steve Bunce
Boxing expert on BBC Radio 5 Live

It probably is time for Sheeraz to get closer and let two or three shots go. He won't miss them if he throws them.

  19. Round fourpublished at 22:25 BST 25 July

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

Sheeraz is beginning to pick up the pace and cause Zachenhuber problems.

He hunts Zachenhuber down, all over the ring, before landing a powerful left hook to the body.

Zachenhuber responds inside the final 10 seconds with a jab to the face, but it won't be enough to stop Sheeraz from winning the round.

    Sheeraz v Zachenhuber

    Natasha Jonas
Two-weight world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live

I can see why the crowd are getting annoyed. I think Sheeraz is very comfortable in second gear.
