Cornwall's short mat bowls team won their first match of the season after beating Dorset 29-11 in the ESMBA Inter-County Championship. The victory keeps Cornwall in third place in the South West group table on 77 points, behind Dorset who are second on 98. In the 'A' team match Cornwall and Dorset drew on 20 points each. Cornwall remain on top of the South West group five table with 114 points, while Somerset are on 89 points.
