Jersey won the ICC European Division One trophy this year

Guernsey cricket captain Stuart Le Prevost believes the reputation of the Channel Islands has been boosted by successes in international tournaments. Jersey and Guernsey successfully hosted the ICC European Division One and Two respectively, each side winning all of their games in the competition. Le Provost said: "When Jersey are doing well in competitions like this it's great for both islands. "Obviously when we're playing each other I don't feel quite the same." The two sides compete for the Inter-insular title next month.
