    Coco Gauff finds herself at the net and with the ball racing at her from a Belinda Bencic volley but she manages to readjust her racquet in time to send back a winner.

    "His game suits this surface very well but I tried to stay more aggressive.

    "I'm very happy about my performance - I'm trying to step up a little bit more every day."

    On playing Jan-Lennard Struff next: "He's a very aggressive player, big big server - it's most important for me to rest now, but I have big respect for him."

    And although she still came up with two double faults - one that was almost very costly when serving for the set - it was a marked improvement from the six double faults she picked up in the opening set.
