You would suspect that Novak Djokovic has just landed the final blow of what has been a dominant performance. The Serb is well on course now to reach the Wimbledon third round for the 20th time.

We have already seen Jannik Sinner caused a few issues in his first two matches, and of course Carlos Alcaraz is not here.

They are the two men to have denied Djokovic equalling Roger Federer's eight men's singles triumphs here over the past three years.

This feels like a bit of a statement of intent by the 39-year-old, so relaxed on this stage that he even had time to prank a ball kid during the break before this third set as he pretended she had hurt him while cutting some string off his top.

Novak Djokovic is striking it so well this evening. He powers a forehand down the middle and Stefanos Tsitsipas skews it wide for 40-0.

Djokovic follows with a beautifully placed groundstroke into the corner. He's making this look very straightforward.

I don't care who you are, nobody is making that backhand up the line off that quality cross-court backhand from Novak Djokovic.

I think Stefanos Tsitsipas was just going line and hoping that it happened to go in. He missed that exact same shot twice in that game alone.

I know Stefanos Tsitsipas hit that amazing forehand around the net post earlier, but I'm not so sure what he was going for there on the backhand at 15-15. He absolutely slashed at that shot. He had no chance of making that.

Novak Djokovic seemed OK after taking a tumble earlier but there's another concern as his ankle gives way when trying to change direction quickly.

He'll be happy to see that Stefanos Tsitsipas fired long as that happened and he has a couple of break points.

Novak Djokovic is batting it around with some serious intent now.

A couple of cross-court winners draw big reactions from the Centre Court crowd as he gets to 40-0. Djokovic almost gets the hold to love with a drop shot but Stefanos Tsitsipas covers the ground quickly and the Serb can't get it back over.

A hold to 15 it'll have to be.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is the victim of an awkward bounce on the baseline. The Greek trails 30-0 on serve as he hits an air-shot and glances down at the rugged turf below his feet.

Tsitsipas gets back to 30-30 before outlasting Novak Djokovic in a 15-shot rally and then completing the turnaround to hold with an ace.

The one thing Stefanos Tsitsipas is doing well is serving. He's had Novak Djokovic guessing before contact on a couple of occasions.

Just then, Djokovic guessed to go out wide and Tsitsipas burned his serve down the T.

In the blink of an eye, Novak Djokovic is a point away from a two-set lead.

Stefanos Tsitsipas had two opportunities to kill that point but both of his overheads are quite grim.

Novak Djokovic drives him back to the baseline with a looping reply off the second before chasing down a wide forehand and fizzing his reply along the same trajectory. Tsitsipas' attempted short reply finds the net.
