    What a night!

It looked like Munster were going to dominate when they had a 26-5 lead at the break, but Ulster fought back and won the second half 21-0 to come out with a nail-biting 26-26 draw at home.

The intrerpro derby certainly delivered and you can read Matt Gault's report from the Affidea Stadium here.

Richie Murphy's side will head to Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi next week to kick off their Challenge Cup campaign against Zebre, whilst Munster host Racing 92 at home in the Champions Cup.

Thanks for joining us for an exciting derby! See you soon.

    FT: Ulster 26-26 Munster

Speaking to Premier Sports at full-time, Ulster's Jacob Stockdale said:

"We were obviously disappointed they kicked it out at the end but we can't give teams that sort of advantage in the first half.

"We saw it here in Edinburgh when we nearly brought it back, we saw it here tonight where we nearly brought it back.

"We're an unbelievably potent team when we get it right but we can't keep giving teams that much of an advantage and then have to claw it back."

Player of the match, Scarlets full-back Blair Murray, told Premier Sports:

"We had a bit of a slow start in the first half and our mistakes made it hard.

"We knew if we kept hold of the ball we would have a good run.

"I am so proud of the boys’ efforts, we knew we had to stick in it and that it was important to get a win before going to South Africa.

"Boys stepped when we needed them to help us get the win."

  4. Player of the Match - Marnus van der Merwepublished at 19:35 BST 10 October

    FT: Ulster 26-26 Munster

This evening's player of the match is Munster's Marnus van der Merwe.

He was physical, won big turnovers and scored a try.

Speaking to Premier Sports after the final whistle, he said:

"Ulster came out banging in the second half. We should have controlled it better but credit to Ulster.

"We had penalties that cost us. We wanted to make sure the physicality was there and the boys really came out banging.

"We need to look back and see what cost us."

    Stuart McCloskey (con Jack Murphy)

    This is wild. Slightly speechless!

It's level 26-26 at the Affidea Stadium with two minutes on the clock.

Really impressive work by the Ulster forwards sees Stuart McCloskey go crashing over and Jack Murphy adds the extras.

Sam Costelow was wide with two conversions but came up with the goods for Scarlets with a late effort from the tee.

The Wales fly-half's penalty proves to be the difference between the two strugglers.

Scarlets get up and running after defeats by Cardiff and Dragons, Benetton are still winless after three rounds.

A big win for Nigel Davies' men, who have a double-header in South Africa after starting their Challenge Cup campaign against Newcastle next weekend.
