Crikey! That's an incredible reach by Nava to turn that scooping forehand into a winner.
Murray looks stunned.
Nava stands motionless for a couple of seconds with his hands on hips - Eric Cantona-style - as everyone else goes wild
Then he breaks out into a jump of joy and laughs as he skips across the court to grab his towel.
What a moment for the 20-year-old. Now can he maintain his sky-high level which is way above his ranking of 203rd in the world?

That set took an hour and 24 minutes.
And now, they've got to go again. Andy Murray has got a huge job on his hands if he's going to take victory in this heat, with the cramping problems he's had recently too.

Just a sigh, Murray actually laughing up to his box, who is this guy at the other side of the court?
What a set of tennis from both players. It had to finish on a shot like that to get it finished.
I am not really sure what Andy will be thinking now.
Murray 5-7 Nava
Wow.
Murray advances closer and closer to the net but Nava is unfazed. He coolly passes the former champion and takes the first set.
*Murray 5-6 Nava
What. A. Shot.
Emilio Nava slaps a forehand on an angle and there is absolutely no chance of Murray getting there.
*Murray 5-6 Nava
Aaaand again.
Murray hooks his forehand wide and this game goes on at deuce.
If Nava wins this game, he wins the set.
*Murray 5-6 Nava
It doesn't help that the sun is back out on Arthur Ashe and Emilio Nava will not quit.
He's drawn Murray back to deuce a couple of times.

I have never seen Andy so quiet on court at this point. I don't know if he is trying to conserve energy or maybe keep the stress levels down to avert cramp.
*Murray 5-6 Nava
Again, Nava can't return Murray's serve and the former world number one gets to 40-30.
The American won't give in, though. Two big forehands into the corner catch Murray running in the wrong direction. Deuce.

This is what tennis is about when you are Nava's age. Everything is a lesson and he is learning a lot about himself.
*Murray 5-6 Nava
Murray slumps over in disappointment after slapping a forehand into the net to go 15-30 down on his serve.
Nava repays the favour on the next point and it's 30-30. Danger averted, for now.
*Murray 5-6 Nava
It all got a bit spicy on Arthur Ashe when Nava broke to go 5-3 up, but as cloud cover has come over the court the heat has been taken out of the match.
Nava holds to love and at the moment it looks like we're on track for a tie-break as Murray walks slowly to his chair. Doesn't exactly look full of beans.

Murray is starting to feel that the Nava forehand is starting to break down as he is peppering it since the American failed to close the set out.
Murray 5-5 Nava*
Murray looks on track for a hold to love, but Nava disturbs his rhythm with a lob that the Brit can't get back.
Nava seems to wake up after that and hits another booming forehand into the corner for 40-30.
Murray finally brings things to an end with a big first serve. An important hold.

Nava can't believe that. He felt Murray's return was out, but we're adjacent to the baseline and it did look like paint was clipped.
The American gestures to his box with his hands, indicating he reckoned it was out by about the size of one of those $1 hot-dogs you can buy on the Manhattan streets.
Definitely wasn't.

It is one thing to play free when Nava has the opportunity and with no pressure on, but it is quite another thing when you have to actually serve for the set.
*Murray 4-5 Nava
This set has been going on for an hour and four minutes so far, long enough for Murray to need a change of shirt at this changeover. Hope he's brought enough in case it turns into a five-setter.
*Murray 4-5 Nava
Emilio Nava holds his arms out in disbelief. He thought Murray's backhand had gone out, but the automatic line calls say otherwise and instead it is the American who can't find the court with his shot.
We continue!
Murray 3-5 Nava*
Murray is absolutely desperate to stay in this set. Nava hits a backhand volley on a razor-sharp angle and it's obviously out of Murray's reach, but he gives chase anyway.
The first break point is saved and Murray immediately sets up another.
