We will now have our last swimming medal ceremonies of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

First up, Daniel Wiffen of Northern Ireland receives his silver in the men's 1500m freestyle.

He finished 2.59 seconds behind gold medallist Sam Short and 4.8 clear of Short's team-mate Benjamin Goedemans, who collects bronze.

    Women's 3,000m steeplechase final

A brilliant - and somewhat unexpected - silver for Elise Thorner!

Kenya's Faith Cherotich wins gold in a Games record 9:01.76 and the world champion's class shone through.

But so, too, did Thorner's! She records a new PB of 9:05.45 to finish well clear of the Olympic silver medallist Peruth Chemutai of Uganda.

A fantastic race to end the evening.

England hold off South Africa to clinch the silver medal!

It is yet ANOTHER gold for Australia's swimmers. Quite astonishing.

A great effort by Oliver Morgan, Adam Ramsay-Peaty, Edward Mildred and Jacob Mills to finish second to an imperious Aussie line-up.

Henry Allan, Sam Williamson, Matthew Temple and Flynn Southam proved to be too strong.

Duncan Scott gets plenty of cheers but cannot help Scotland to a medal, as they finish fifth and South Africa take bronze.
