Wrexham won 2-0 at Millwall on Saturday courtesy of second half goals from Kieffer Moore and Lewis O'Brien.
"To gather momentum and have great spirits heading into the two weeks, we can now concentrate on the principles we want to do and hopefully build on this one," Cacace said.
"From the outside I saw what momentum can do for this club and hopefully the boys that were part of that the previous seasons can use their experience for us to keep going in this league.
"The sky's the limit for us but we've got to make sure that first and foremost we give everything that we can for the club – that's all we can ask for and then the rest will come."
New Zealand international Cacace joined Wrexham in the summer from Empoli on a three-year deal.
He made his debut on the opening day of the season at Southampton in which he suffered a hamstring injury but returned for the game at Millwall.
"To get through that injury free was important to me," Cacace added.
""Hopefully I can keep helping the team climb up that ladder.
"I'm enjoying every day, even when I was injured, it was great to connect with some of the boys and some of the staff as well.
"I'm enjoying every moment so far."
