Blackpool have signed goalkeeper Luke Southwood from Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The Northern Ireland international joins on a one-year deal with an option for a further 12 months.
Southwood, 28, formerly played under Blackpool head coach Ian Evatt at Bolton Wanderers.
"Reuniting with the gaffer was one of the biggest selling points in terms of coming here as I know how good and detailed he is.
"He is a manager who I feel like I can definitely thrive under and can bring the best out of me so that's a massive part," Southwood told the club website, external.
He will provide competition for Bailey Peacock-Farrell at Bloomfield Road, having played 27 games for Rovers last season before losing his place during the second half of the campaign.
"We are delighted to have brought Luke in before the first league game of the season," said Evatt.
"He is someone who I was keen to bring in, having worked with him at Bolton Wanderers. He will add real quality to our goalkeeping department."
The Seasiders kick off their League One campaign with a home fixture against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.

Cheltenham Town have brought in winger Jake Evans on a season-long loan from League One side Leicester City.
Evans, 17, played 16 times in League One for Northampton Town last season.

Manager Steve Cotterill added: "Jake has been one of my targets throughout the summer. There was a lot of interest in Jake from League Two and higher up the pyramid.
"As well as being an exciting player, it is also worth remembering that he is a young man learning his trade in the men's game."

Guyana captain Elliot Bonds has joined Salford City from Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee.
The London-born midfielder, 26, also had spells with Dagenham & Redbridge, Cheltenham Town and Kidderminster Harriers and has signed a multi-year deal with Salford.
Bonds joined Fleetwood in 2024 and was voted the supporters' player of the season in his first campaign before being named captain last year.
He is targeting promotion from League Two with Salford and told their website, external: "I've heard great things about pre-season, the new manager and his coaching team.
"With the team we're building, with players with heart like myself that we're signing, I think this season is one where we have to go one step further. If we stick together and everyone brings the best version of themselves, I believe we will achieve that."
