John McGlynn hands full debuts to former St Mirren left-back Scott Tanser, and ex-Hibernian and Brentford youngster Ethan Laidlaw.
In midfield, there's a second debut - if such a thing exists - for local hero Craig Sibbald, who returned to his hometown club from Dundee United earlier this summer.
Just 2,996 days between appearances for the midfielder.

Falkirk were one of the most talked about sides in last season's Premiership, John McGlynn's side finishing sixth in the top flight after successive promotions.
Last term, the Bairns sailed through their group unbeaten.
However, they drew Celtic in round two and lost 4-1 in Glasgow.
Elsewhere in Group G, Stranraer host Ayr United with Alloa Athletic not in action this weekend.
Aberdeen (Group A), Kilmarnock (Group H) and promoted St Johnstone (Group F) all have to wait until Tuesday to start their group campaigns.
Group E side Livingston, who were relegated from the Premiership, also start on 14 July.
Dundee v Airdrieonians (15:00)
There are three Dundee debuts in Steven Pressley's first XI of the season, with left-back Idris Odutayo, centre-back Owen Bevan, and midfielder Ryan Finnigan all starting.
Young goalkeeper Harry Sharp starts in the nets, with starts in attack for Charlie Reilly and youngster Joe Bevan - the ex-Albion Rovers striker who signed from Burnley in January.
Simon Murray and Joe Westley are on the bench.

Dundee did not get out of the group stage last season and Airdrieonians' 1-0 win at Dens Park was one of the reasons why.
Steven Pressley's side went on to have a pretty solid Premiership campaign and were never really in any relegation trouble.
On Saturday, almost exactly a year to the day of their last visit, Championship Airdrie will return to Dens Park seeking another upset (15:00).
Annan Athletic host Ross County - quite a road trip for the visitors - in the other Group D match, while Clyde sit this weekend out.
In the evening kick-off, Dundee United are away to Stirling Albion (17:30) in Group B. Earlier in the day, Arbroath visit Spartans.
Last season, United, as a Scottish representative in Europe, were given a bye in the first round and were knocked out in the second by Kilmarnock.
Jim Goodwin's side finished seventh in the Premiership.
Dumbarton v St Mirren (15:00)
St Mirren give debuts to four summer signings as Jacob Chapman starts in goal.
Attacking midfielder Samuel Ramos is also in the XI, while Carrick McEvoy and Chris Mochrie have been named in Craig McLeish's side at Dumbarton.

Last season was somewhat of a rollercoaster for tournament holders St Mirren.
The Paisley side won the trophy in December, defeating favourites Celtic 3-1 at Hampden.
Manager Stephen Robinson subsequently joined Aberdeen in March and interim boss Craig McLeish took over for the Buddies' remaining season 2025-26 fixtures.
A re-match with Celtic at Hampden ensued in the Scottish Cup semi-final and St Mirren came back from two down to force extra-time but a burst of goals secured eventual competition winners Celtic a 6-2 win.
Focus turned to Premiership survival, a battle that went right through to the play-off final.
McLeish secured a 2-1 aggregate win over Partick Thistle and ultimately the manager's job on a permanent basis. He has appointed Marcus Fraser as the new Buddies captain following Mark O'Hara's departure.
St Mirren start the defence of their League Cup away to Dumbarton (15:00 BST) while East Kilbride host Scottish Cup finalists Dunfermline Athletic in the other Group C fixture. Cove Rangers are inactive in this round of fixtures.

The 2026-27 season returns with the opening weekend of the Scottish League Cup group stage.
Four top-flight teams are in action, with holders St Mirren at Dumbarton, Dundee hosting Airdrieonians and Falkirk travelling to Edinburgh City.
Dundee United are at Stirling Albion at 17:30 BST. The other 15 matches kick off at 15:00.

Dundee United's Zac Sapsford scored the winner
Dundee United needed a spot kick in stoppage time from Zac Sapsford to deny Stirling Albion a draw that would have taken their Premier Sports Cup group-stage opener to a bonus point penalty shoot-out.
The League 2 hosts, now managed by Steven Whittaker, looked destined to be rewarded for a battling, backs-to-the-wall performance.
Time and again, they put bodies on the line, even losing summer signing and new captain Josh Mullin to a first-half head knock as he made a last-ditch challenge.
However, visiting manager Jim Goodwin introduced 16-year-old academy product Cohen Leiper with 20 minutes to go and the winger helped secure the victory.
Taking on his marker at every opportunity, Leiper whipped in a cross that was met by Sapsford just before the striker was taken down by defender Sam Denham.
The Australian dusted himself down and sealed the victory from the penalty spot.
