Starting XI
Antonin Kinsky: His passing was on point, but there was little he could have done about the goal, making a sensational save from Estevao early in the second half. 7
Archie Gray: A surprise choice as captain for the third match running and forgot his mascot, but an accomplished display. 7
Jan Paul van Hecke: Van Hecke set the tone by imposing himself on Joao Pedro and was tidy on the ball. 6
Ben Davies: His clearance only created more danger for Chelsea's equaliser, while he also gave the ball away for a first-half chance for Joao Pedro. 5
Andrew Robertson: The Scotland international, signed from Liverpool, looked a little sloppy on his first pre-season start and made a poor chested pass midway through the first half that almost led to a Chelsea goal. 5
Lucas Bergvall: The Swede was guilty of giving the ball away for Chelsea's goal and it will not have impressed his manager, who is challenging him to prove he can play ahead of the club's expensive new midfielders. 5
Sandro Tonali: The Italian was an impressive presence in midfield and struck a clean effort from range to beat Sharman-Lowe. 7
Conor Gallagher: A typical Gallagher performance, breaking up play and providing plenty of physicality. He should have won a penalty but for a poor refereeing decision. 7
Manor Solomon: The Israeli set up the opening goal with a well-weighted cut-back. 6
Mathys Tel: The attacker was excellent in the first half, taking the game to Chelsea and almost scoring a spectacular goal after beating three players. 7
Dominic Solanke: Produced an impressive display, linking play effectively and providing a presence in the box, but was unable to create any clear chances for himself. 7
Substitutes
Kevin Danso: Sent off for pulling down Joao Pedro with his arm just three minutes after coming on to the pitch, having made the terrible decision to let the ball run through his legs. 1
Malachi Hardy: Has been one of the breakthrough stars of Spurs' pre-season and again slotted in nicely at centre-back while under sustained pressure. 7
Richarlison: On a hiding to nothing playing 45 minutes with 10 men, but he was there when it counted to win the match in the 92nd minute. 7
Jamie Donley: His impressive right-foot shot with the last moment of the match hit the post before Richarlison won the match. 7
Rio Kyerematen: The 21-year-old produced a wonderful turn in his own half and drove at Chelsea's box, then hit the bar with a 30-yard shot, earning applause from boss Roberto de Zerbi. 7
Tye Hall and Luca Williams-Barnett also featured.
