Welcome to today's live football page and thanks for joining us for the latest Premier League news.

After the midweek drama in the Carabao Cup, which saw League Two side Fleetwood pull off an upset against Arsenal, it's time to get back to league action and the Gunners face a tough test as they aim to bounce back.

The Premier League champions are away to Liverpool on Sunday while two more of the big boys go head-to-head as under-fire manager Michael Carrick takes his Manchester United side to Chelsea.

We'll be here for the next three hours or so to preview this weekend's games and bring you all the best lines from Friday's news conferences.
