Kerstin Casparij (63 mins)

Kerstin Casparij will have been upset to have been left out of the starting XI today but what a way to respond.
The ball is knocked back into her path on the edge of the box and she brilliantly places one into the far corner.

Here come the changes for City.
On: Mary Fowler, Kerstin Casparij and Iman Beney.
Off: Beth Mead, Carlotta Wamser and Niamh Charles.

Aoba Fujino is played in behind the Arsenal defence after a brilliant Carlotta Wamser ball but there is absolutely no one in the box for her to play it to.

Lauren Hemp spreads it wide for Beth Mead, who cuts inside on her left foot but it's never troubling Anneke Borbe.

A Manchester City fan in front of us keeps singing "Champions of Europe, you'll never say that" towards the Arsenal fans. Who is going to tell him?
Manchester City 1-2 Arsenal
It's very comfortable for Arsenal at the moment. Think it might be time for some City changes very soon.

The City press is almost non-existent so far. It's been far too easy for Arsenal to play themselves out of danger.

Arsenal look a completely different side today and you wouldn't bet against them scoring more.

A topic for conversation (probably controversial!) - Bunny Shaw is a great striker, but does she turn up enough in the biggest games? Only 2 goals against Chelsea and 3 against Arsenal (so far) in her league career.

That is Alessia Russo's first goal in the WLS this season.
The first of many, you would assume.

That's a huge goal from Alessia Russo, who has struggled so far this season and finally gets her moment.
It's so rare we see Yui Hasegawa give the ball away, let alone inside her own half, and she has been punished for it.
Momentum is definitely with Arsenal at the moment.

It just shows that Bunny Shaw had an opportunity just moments before. Arsenal do ever so well, it's such good pressure-rising from them. When it falls to Russo she's on the edge of the box, right footed. It's brilliant from her.
Manchester City 1-2 Arsenal
It's almost a gift for Arsenal and they grab it with both hands.
What have City got now?
Alessia Russo (49 mins)
Finish!
From Bunny Shaw's miss to Alessia Russo's screamer!
Yui Hasegawa, of all people, loses the ball in her own box, Russo finds the space for a strike and whips a beauty into the far corner.

Aoba Fujino guides a beauty of a ball through the Arsenal defence for Bunny Shaw but her second touch is too heavy and it's a huge let-off for Arsenal.

I spoke to Manchester City fan Barbara Joyce at half-time and she hopes there will be more action in the second half. It felt slow at times in the first half and having just spent the last two days in Paris to see Celine Dion, it was an anti-climax for her!
Manchester City 1-1 Arsenal
It's Arsenal who have the ball in these early stages but they're in no rush to get it forward just yet.
Manchester City 1-1 Arsenal
The ball is rolling once again at the Etihad.
