Lincoln City had a good ploy and we wondered if they would they last and they didn't.
I think the substitutes made the difference. They were top draw. Well played to the management team for getting that right and to the players.
I'm delighted for the boys. It was important to get off to a good start and it's onto Blackburn now.
Charlton 2-1 Derby

Karlan Grant made his comeback to the Valley a good one as he put in a great cross following a free-kick that had pinpoint accuracy to the find the head of Lloyd Jones.
Tyreece Campbell then fired in a second after evading the swarming Derby players and though the Rams piled on the pressure as the game came to a close, they couldn't get past Charlton's defence.
Takeover collapsed, out the EFL Cup and now off to a losing start in the Championship. A tough time to be a Derby fan.
Stoke 1-2 Swansea
Adam Idah makes an immediate impact to ensure all three points for Swansea.
The Republic of Ireland international had only been on the pitch for one minute and slotted his first touch into the net to give Swansea the lead.
Charlton 2-1 Derby
Derby are pushing for that equaliser.
Carlton Morris can't quite get enough on his first strike to it send home, while a deflection denies his second attempt.

Norwich 1-2 West Brom
West Brom hold on for all three points in an excellent game at Carrow Road.
Having dominated for much of the contest, Norwich fell behind to a controversial opener from Aune Heggebo, who appeared to turn into the net with his arm from Jimmy-Jay Morgan's cross in the 75th minute.
Morgan turned from provider to goalscorer 12 minutes later, weaving into the box before thumping a clinical finish into the bottom corner to double Albion's lead.
Mathias Kvistgaarden pulled one back in stoppage time for the Canaries with a headed effort on the rebound, but the Baggies have seen the job through.
An excellent result for James Morrison's side.
Bristol City 0-2 Millwall
A perfect start to the new campaign for Millwall against 10-men Bristol City. A far from ideal start for new Robins boss Michael Skubala.
Josh Coburn is the star of the show for the Lions, grabbing both goals after Adam Randell was shown a second yellow in the first half for pulling back the tall striker.
Millwall, in truth, could have won by a bigger margin but it's job done for Alex Neil and his side.
That journey back to south London will be an enjoyable one for sure.

The Imps, in their first second tier game for 65 years, led at the break through Adam Reach's goal but just could not hold out.
It's a first league defeat for them since 22 November.
