Aston Villa's winless run in the Women's Super League extended to five matches after being held by Crystal Palace at Villa Park.
Former Everton boss Brian Sorensen took charge for the first time in the league following Natalia Arroyo's sacking earlier this week after the club's poor start.
Villa took the lead after 55 minutes when Chasity Grant broke down the right and played the ball across for Noelle Maritz to guide home her first goal of the season.
Abbie Larkin, though, levelled in the 74th minute for Palace, who picked up a sixth point in this campaign.
Republic of Ireland forward Larkin, who had caused Villa problems throughout and a penalty appeal waved away, drove at the heart of the defence and powered the ball into the bottom left corner.
As both sides pushed for a winner, Georgia Mullett came close for Villa but failed to make the right connection and sent her effort over the bar.
Shannon O'Brien missed an even better chance for Palace, before her keeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin was forced into an excellent save by Miri Taylor in the final few minutes to preserve a point for the visitors.
Villa are third bottom in the table on three points, while Palace sit in eighth place.
