  1. Who will express their views?published at 13:41 BST

Since Man City were charged, the game has moved on. Pep Guardiola is no longer at the helm at the Etihad and Liverpool have waved goodbye to Jurgen Klopp but all will be asked for their views on one of the most significant moments English football has known.

Of course, some will remain tight-lipped but others may let their thoughts be known a little more.

"I'm very disappointed and it's a big loss.

"No [injury going into the England debut against Croatia]. The club already said everything about it.

"It's disappointing. I don't want to blame anyone. We're very happy he is in the England national team. He did well."

  5. City lodge appeal against guilty verdictpublished at 13:34 BST

It was confirmed on 2 October that Manchester City have lodged an appeal after an independent commission found the club guilty of all charges relating to breaches of the Premier League's financial regulations.

In a short statement, the club said the commission's ruling contained "clear material errors, of law, principle and fact and is unsafe".

Asserting its innocence, the club added it had filed "a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence [that] exists in support of all of its positions" on Thursday evening.

One section of the Premier League regulations says that an appeal hearing should conclude within 12 weeks of it being heard, and a decision communicated within 30 days of that.

Twelve weeks from last Thursday – when City say they lodged the appeal – would be 24 December.

  7. 'Retrospective punishments' to hit Man City?published at 13:30 BST

A number of Premier League clubs want Manchester City to be hit with both "retrospective punishments" and sanctions for the future for their mass financial rule-breaking, sources have told BBC Sport.

One senior club source said City should be stripped of their titles, and added there was "no great rush" among clubs to push for the redistribution of trophies, but rather to take honours away and leave them vacant.

A number of Premier League figures therefore, believe any points deduction should be split over multiple seasons, while there is also a sense that transfer bans that stretch over a number of windows would also significantly hinder City's ability to regain their top-flight status as quickly as possible.

  8. Former City midfielder Lampard to face mediapublished at 13:27 BST

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard played for Manchester City during the 2014-15 Premier League season.

Having been released by Chelsea in the summer of 2024, Lampard joined City on loan before linking up with Major League Soccer side New York City - who are part of the City Football Group.

It was successful short stint, within that of the period where City have been found guilty of breaching financial rules, and he even scored a late equaliser against Chelsea.

He will be speaking to the media at 13:30 BST before his side's game against Newcastle United on Monday.

I would expect him to be asked about his former side.

  9. What were the 115 charges?published at 13:24 BST

Man City were found guilty of 114 of 115 charges.

    Here's what the charges are:

    • 54x Failure to provide accurate financial information 2009-10 to 2017-18.

    • 14x Failure to provide accurate details for player and manager payments from 2009-10 to 2017-18.

    • 5x Failure to comply with Uefa's rules including Financial Fair Play (FFP) 2013-14 to 2017-18.

    • 7x Breaching Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) 2015-16 to 2017-18.

    • 35x Failure to co-operate with Premier League investigations December 2018 - Feb 2023.

There have been suggestions by the Times and football finance expert Kieran Maguire the number of charges is as high as 130. BBC Sport has been unable to verify this.

And who said the international break is quiet?

On 25 September, news hit that Manchester City have been found guilty of breaking the majority of the 115 financial rules they were accused of breaching.

The sanctions have not been decided but the independent panel reached its decision, finding the club guilty of all but one count.

Over the next couple of days, Premier League managers will be asked for the first time about their thoughts on the matter.
