Thomas Tuchel says Alex Scott's injury is a "one-off, strange one" and there was no risk involved with playing him against Croatia.

The 23-year-old Bournemouth midfielder is set to be out for six to eight weeks with a thigh issue.

Scott felt the issue prior to the match, but played 70 minutes in central midfield alongside Elliot Anderson before being substituted.
