Leeds sign centre-back Elvedi from Borussia Monchengladbach

Leeds United have signed Switzerland international Nico Elvedi from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 29-year-old centre-back has moved to Elland Road after spending more than 10 years with the German club, making more than 350 appearances.
Elvedi played every minute of Switzerland's 2026 World Cup campaign before they were knocked out by Argentina in the quarter-finals.
Elvedi will reunite with Leeds boss Daniel Farke, who he played under at Borussia Monchengladbach during the 2022-23 campaign.
