Forest Green Rovers owner Dale Vince said there is no manager vacancy at the club and they are not currently seeking a replacement for Robbie Savage.
The Welshman left last week to join League One Peterborough United, with coaching trio Jonathan Gould, Josh Bowen and Yan Klukowski taking charge of the team for their past two games.
"Nobody's in the frame, nobody's connected to the job, at the minute there's no vacancy," Vince told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"At the moment, we're going to try something new, we're going to see how it goes and we'll see where it goes."
Vince said despite speculation putting names in the frame to replace Savage, the club had not spoken to any potential candidates.
"We're not in a hurry and we aren't actually having any conversations, we haven't spoken to anyone about the role," Vince said.
"We like where we are, we're going to see how it goes maybe for a few games, maybe for a month.
"The coaching team have been doing the heavy lifting anyway, the day-to-day coaching, they know the team inside and out and I think that the three of them make very balanced, rational decisions."
Forest Green lost 4-2 at home to Hartlepool United in their most recent game to drop to 16th in the table.
They have won just four of 12 games this season and are without a win in their past five in the league.
