She was exceptional as her side tried to defend such a low total, taking the key wicket of Phoebe Litchfield before returning to take two wickets in two balls to briefly bring Brave back into the contest.
The England bowler finished with figures of 3-21 but it wasn't quite enough.
Sunrisers Leeds captain Dani Gibson speaking to Sky Sports: "Buzzing to get the win. It was a closer game than I thought at the halfway point.
"We bowled our lines really well and kept the boundaries in check. We fielded really well to back up our bowlers and Lauren Winfield-Hill and Deepti Sharma's innings got us across the line."

It was very much a team effort for Sunrisers Leeds. There wasn't one standout out performance, everyone just did what was required of them.
Hannah Baker bowled very nicely to take 2-13 from her 20 balls, while Lauren Winfield-Hill (37 from 37 balls) and Deepti Sharma (28* from 22) were the pick of the batters.
Image source, Getty ImagesSouthern Brave's bowlers did their best to make things difficult for Sunrisers Leeds but, ultimately, they were just not given enough runs to defend.
Sunrisers' batting depth also came to the fore, meaning when there was a slight wobble, there was never any sense of panic.
They go through to face Trent Rockets in Sunday's final.

Sunrisers Leeds won the toss and opted to field first, which stacked the odds in their favour in an Eliminator.
They've shown they're the team in form, they've tinkered with their line-up, particularly their batting line-up, and have found one that works for them.

A real let off for Sarah Glenn as Deepti Sharma can only thump a leg-side long hop to the fielder at short fine leg.
Deepti makes up for it, though. Another leg-side delivery to end the set and this one is swept hard and fine to the boundary.
It's into single digits for the Sunrisers now.

After such a superb few balls to give Brave a chance, Issy Wong relieves the pressure with a poor ball on leg stump.
It's gratefully helped round the corner by new batter Jess Jonassen and Sunrisers move ever closer to the Lord's final.
