That should have definitely been stopped. She got a big hand on it, did Little, but she just pushed it over the boundary.

  2. Eng 26-0published at 5 overs

A wayward over from Orla Prendergast and Maia Bouchier capitalises completely.

The England opener swipes her second delivery through backward square for four and then finds the rope again through point two balls later.

Prendergast then beats Bouchier's outside edge but the batter has the last word as she brings up a third boundary through fine leg to wrap up the over.

  3. Eng 10-0published at 4 overs

A maiden over from Arlene Kelly.

But it could have been even better as Sophia Dunkley attempted to clear the circle but miscued her shot. But the ball drops safely just short of the fielder at mid-off.

  4. Eng 14-0published at 3 overs

Another tidy over from Orla Prendergast.

Only four runs coming from it, including a quick double after Sophia Dunkley expertly guides the ball to third.

  11. Eng 0-0published at 0.1 overs

Orla Prendergast begins the Ireland attack with the new ball and England opener Maia Bouchier watchfully defends the opening delivery.

The sun is shining on New Road at the moment but there are some darker clouds in the distance, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Maia Bouchier and Sophia Dunkley are walking out to the middle and will open the batting for England.

England have the chance to set a target for the first time in this series and they will be hoping their openers can lay the platform for a big score here.

England captain Charlie Dean: "It's a good toss to lose today. Happy to have a bat. We can't wait to get out there with the bat. But it could be a bit tricky.

"We have a lot of options we could have gone with. We are very serious about trying to win this game and seal the series.

"Issy Wong misses out and Lauren Filer comes back in."

Ireland captain Gaby Lewis: "There is a bit of grass in the wicket, so we are hoping to get some movement here this morning. So we are going to bowl first.

"There has been some positives in the last two games. It's about building on them and finishing the series and the whole summer on a high.

"This is Arlene Kelly's last international game for Ireland. She has been amazing for us in the last four years. We are blessed to get those four years. Her calmness under pressure has been fantastic. Someone you can throw the ball to under pressure. She has been massive for us over the year.

"Lara McBride is in and Jane Maguire is out today, so we are going with three spinners today."
