    England had to be at their absolute best to win today, and play like they did in the semi-final against South Africa.

    There wasn't a moment in this game where I thought 'that is where they have lost it'. They haven't been bad, they have just been beaten by a better team.

    England really could have batted much more aggressively in those last five overs - they had Gibson, Dean and Ecclestone to spare but were content to take singles. Killer instinct lacking and the difference between the two teams. But well done for coming second.
