The fight is good now, exactly due to the jeopardy involved. AJ has all the chance in the world of catching Fury with a right hand to end the fight early. Years ago the movement would have probably prevented it, but AJ might fold with the first jab. This will be genuinely intriguing.

Matchroom's Eddie Hearn says: "I'm excited and as Tyson said. Turki, I know we've fallen out, but I promise you this'll be the greatest night you've ever had in boxing. On a serious note, when we talked about this fight, you envisaged it for British boxing. This guy has changed boxing in this country. So has Tyson Fury. We are the envy of the boxing world."

Compare their fights against Ngannou. Both recent. Both past their prime. Both with a lot to lose. AJ spanked Ngannou. Big time. Damn near took his head off. Fury was humbled and scraped a win (as dodgy a win as I've ever seen). Who looked better?

It's sort of a subdued Tyson Fury compared to expectations.

Tyson Fury says: "GK is number one and you don't own anything. I'm the boss. I would have a beer with Eddie right now. The man is a good promoter and manager but I don't like his crying.

"Have I ever been rude to Eddie? I would go for a beer with you today. Same for you AJ. I hope we can have a pint of Guinness together after this fight."

    Fury v Joshua

Tyson Fury says: "In the build-up to this fight, Eddie and AJ were talking about being the landlord and the boss, the governors. I only see one don, Fury v AJ. I'm number one, son. I don't make a big thing about all that but considering you have and when I work out and see Fury v his opponent.

"I don't take it personally. Eddie Hearn is a sausage."
