Radio 2 in the Park 2026 Ticket Competition

1. The competition is open to all residents of the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man aged 18 or over except BBC or BBC Group Company employees, their close relatives or anyone connected with the competition or the particular prize being offered.

2. The competitions will run on BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon show between 13:30 and 16:00 every day between Monday 7 and Friday 11 September 2026.

3. At some point during the show between 13:30 and 16:00, listeners will hear a clip from a song played with a missing lyric. From that moment listeners have approximately 30 minutes to call 0808 5 92 95 00 and get through where they will give their answer to the missing lyric to the phone operators as well as some contact information. After the competition window has closed, the winner and several back ups will be picked at random from all the entrants that gave the correct answer. The winner will be called back shortly after the competition closes and may be invited to come on air.

Entrants must answer all questions independently and without assistance (except in such circumstances where such reasonable adjustments are in place). Help from any other person, including prompts, signals, background voices or third-party communication of any kind, is prohibited. Any entrant found to be receiving unauthorised assistance will be disqualified.

If the call is not answered on the first attempt or is diverted to any form of voicemail, answerphone, or automated answer service (including but not limited to call screening features that intercept or filter calls), or if there is no answer after 30 seconds of the phone ringing, or the shortlisted entrant is rude or abusive they will not be the winner of the prize and the next person randomly selected in the list will be called back and so on until a valid winner is found.

If no winner is found after 6 callers have been attempted to be contacted, or the end of the show is reached, the prize will not roll over to the next day and be voided. The competition and registration process will reset each day and for each round of the competition.

4. Entry to the competition is only available by using the following method:

by phoning 0808 5 92 95 00 during the entry window described above. Calls are free from landlines and mobiles. No other method of entry will be accepted. If a winner is found, it will be announced during the relevant show on each day of the competition run

5. The phone from which the call is made in the registration process must be the entrant’s phone. The entrant must be entering on their own behalf. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who did not register using their own phone, who answered a call to someone else’s phone or who has someone else answer their phone on their behalf. Further the BBC reserves the right to disqualify an entrant if it discovers the information provided in the registration process is incorrect. This may mean that a winner is disqualified for not providing the correct information for verification purposes, that prize will go back into the pot and a subsequent round of the competition will take place as soon as possible.

6. The BBC's decision as to entrants and winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

7. Entrants agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.

8. The prize on each day of the competition consists of; two (2) tickets to Radio 2 In The Park in Striling 2026 for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the event. Travel and Expenses are not included unless expressly stated in these terms and the BBC will not be responsible for any reimbursements. 9. The prize is as described above. The prize description may include additional requirements which alter the eligibility of that particular round of the competition, impose additional rules or restrictions specific to that prize. You must read the particular prize description carefully before entering. The particular prize may require collection or additional actions to be taken for fulfilment. The BBC is not responsible for winners failing to follow instructions. There will be no additional elements, fees or expenses covered (including but not limited to travel or accommodation) unless expressly stated in the particular prize description.

10. If the winners and/or their guest (if applicable) have any health or accessibility requirements, these need to be disclosed to the BBC prior to prize fulfilment. In order to fully experience the prize that includes experiences or ticketed events, there may be some Health & Safety requirements imposed by BBC, the promoter or the venue. These will need to be followed prior to those elements being experienced. The winner and their guest (if applicable) must also comply with the health, safety and security policies at any venue associated with the prize.

11. If the prize includes tickets or entry to an event, the BBC will not be responsible for any failure of the winner and/or guests (if applicable) to gain entry or re-entry to the event due to their behaviour or failing to meet the admission requirements. The BBC will not be responsible for suspension or cancellation of events that may form part of the prize, including though governmental restrictions. In such cases, only the tangible part of the prize will be fulfilled.

12. The winner(s) acknowledge that event tickets have additional Terms and Conditions. Winners (and their guests, where applicable) agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of the ticketed event. The BBC is not responsible for third party terms or third-party websites related to the prize(s).  

13. For the avoidance of doubt, the BBC shall not be liable for any costs, fees, or expenses. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other prizes. Where attendance at an event is part of the prize, it is the sole responsibility of the prize winner to arrange and cover the cost of travel, accommodation, and any other associated expenses, unless otherwise specified.

14. The winner cannot copy or distribute the prize or copies of it. Any programme names, branding or logos on or associated with the prize cannot be used or reproduced by the winner in any way. The winner shall not do anything with the prize that might bring the BBC into disrepute. 

15. Where required, the BBC will pass on details of the winner to the appropriate prize provider/venue to arrange prize fulfilment. If the prize requires additional action (such as collection of tickets at the box office) the winner must follow instructions given (which may include proof of identity). The BBC is not responsible for any failure to follow such instructions.

16. Winners are excluded from subsequent rounds of the competition.

18. The BBC, their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any server, network, system or otherwise which may result in any registration not being properly logged or not recorded.
