The number of police community support officers in the West Midlands is to be cut, external by about 80%Â over the next five years. Â

Debbie Evans, from Coventry veterinary charity PDSA, says he was seriously stressed when they saw him but a short operation with a general anaesthetic succesfully removed the tin.

The West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner has criticised the government's decision to delay proposed changes to police budgets.

West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson called the decision, external "farcical" and said: "It is quite frankly shocking that the Home Office have made a mistake like this."
Nuneaton and Bedworth Healthy Living Network has today received a whopping cash injection of almost half a million pounds from chiefs at the Big Lottery Fund, external.
