Elisabeth Rosseneu, a Belgian pilot said she started loving balloons when she flew with her grandparents as a baby.
"I've always liked it and my husband and I have three girls and we took them for their first flight when they were a year old," Elsiabeth says.
"It feels like a magical world, it's the place I call home where I feel safest."
Elisabeth says there's a few teams of international pilots who always attend each other's balloon fiestas.
"The organisers between several events in Europe, they wanted to support each other's fiestas. There's the biggest annual event which is Bristol, with the history of Cameroon's Balloons," she adds.
"Our festival in Belgium is launching from the city centre and is the oldest balloon festival in the world, which started in 1948 to commemorate the liberation of the city after World War Two."

Today is the third time Ray Preston is flying his hand-made robin-shaped model balloon at the fiesta.
He says it took him six months to make it - "plenty of hours at the sewing machine".
"I've been blown away, there's lots of people cheering up the city," Ray says.
He adds that the cuddly toy dog is the pilot of the balloon, and it's superstition to add one to every basket.

Dave Boyle from Watford has brought his model hot air balloon to the show, which is shaped like a duck.
He says he does 24 shows a year, and loves to interact with the younger people.
“I do it for pleasure. Pleasure of interaction, seeing the young people’s faces," Dave says.

Javier Merino is a balloon pilot from Mexico who has been flying a silver balloon.
It's his first time in Bristol.
"We heard this event is really unique and traditional," Javier says.
"It was such a unique flight. It was a great flight over Bristol, the cathedral, the bridge.
"We were really impressed with the night glow, what a unique coordination with the music and crowd."

Get ready everyone!
We've seen the green smoke, so the balloons are going to take to the skies this morning.
That means five out of five mass ascents (so far!) have gone ahead this year.

Will the balloons go up a fifth time?
We're still waiting to hear whether the mass ascent is going ahead this morning.
Our reporter Jonathan Holmes is poised at Ashton Court to bring us the latest.

Two mass ascents delighted watchers at Ashton Court and across the city, and then crowds gathered for the nightglow - with organisers having to ask people not to travel to the site due to it being full.

Happy Sunday, everyone. Today is the last day of the 2026 Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
So, what can we expect?
Weather permitting there will be a mass ascent at 06:00 BST, which would be a lovely way to start a Sunday morning. Another mass ascent is planned later on in the day at 18:00.
Unlike Friday and Saturday there is no night glow this evening, but you can scroll through this live page to see the best bits of the Friday and Saturday night action.
