Investment Sweden has traditionally been among the biggest funders of health in Europe. Since the early 1980s, governments have constantly spent over 9% of GDP on health care - apart from a dip in the 1990s. The UK has spent much less on health by comparison, but that is now changing. Spending is rising by more than 7% a year until 2008. |
