Guernsey's Heather Watson has won through to the semi-finals of the Tevlin Challenger, an ITF tournament in Toronto, Canada. The 18-year-old defeated American Laura Albanese 7-5 4-6 6-3 on Friday to progress from the quarter-finals. The seventh seed faces another American, Sloane Stephens, for a place in the final. Watson, who won her second senior title in July, is ranked 209 in the world - 20 places above her opponent.
