Nottingham back row forward Sam Raven has joined French side Blagnac after making nearly 100 appearances for the Green and Whites. The 27-year-old re-signed for Nottingham in 2009 after spells with Rotherham and Cornish Pirates. Director of rugby Glenn Delaney told the club website: "Sam has been a fantastic servant for the club. "He made a brilliant impact both on and off the pitch. His effort has been second to none." Raven said: "An opportunity has arisen in France that I could not turn down. "I will not forget all the brilliant times I have had in Nottingham for many years."
