The Hull Stingrays have re-signed veteran forward and captain Jeff Glowa for a fifth season at the Hull Arena.
The 32-year-old Canadian has played for the club in the BNL, EPL and the Elite League becomes Hull coach Rick Strachan’s third summer signing.
“He gets the job done, never lets you down and comes to play every night.” Strachan told BBC Radio Humberside.
“Jeff is a solid two-way hockey player and that’s important to any team.”
He added: “He is strong on the draw, takes the crucial face-offs, he kills penalties and he plays on the powerplay.”

Glowa, who got 18 goals and 35 assists last season as the Rays finished bottom of the Elite League, said: “Last year was so frustrating. I don't want to make excuses but we had some unbelievably back luck with injuries.
"Towards the end of the year we managed to put together some good performances and results.
"I’m pleased to be coming back and I hope we can give something back to the fans. I can't wait for the season to start."
