Lincolnshire trainer James Given has decided against running Dandino in the Great Voltigeur stakes at York's Ebor meeting on Tuesday. The race would have been the three-year-old's final outing before the St Leger at Doncaster in September. But Given said: "Really the Voltigeur was just keeping our options open with the St Leger our primary target." In July Dandino was runner-up in the Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, having previously won at Royal Ascot.
