Cheltenham Racecourse have added a new £50,000 race for top two-mile chasers to the Open meeting at Prestbury Park. The inaugural Connaught Steeple Chase is set for Sunday, 15 November and may feature champion chaser Master Minded. "This race gives an ideal option for the best two-mile chasers to target a race at the Open meeting," said clerk of the course Simon Claisse. "We are thrilled that Master Minded is likely to make his seasonal debut which is sure to add extra interest."
