Devon's short mat bowls team continued their positive start to the season as they beat Dorset in round two of the ESMBA Inter-County Championship match. Devon's Premier Team won by 27-13, the same margin by which they had defeated Cornwall a week earlier. Devon's 'A' team, who lost to Cornwall last time out, were then held to a 20-20 draw by Dorset 'A'. The next game for Devon will be away against Cornwall at the Dragon Centre in Bodmin on 31 October.
