Worthing Thunder have signed Sherrad Prezzie-Blue, 22, to take their tally of signings to eight ahead of the new British Basketball League season. The Conneticut-born point guard spent three years at Wentworth College Tech, averaging 17 points a game. Thunder director Alan Sweetman-Hicks said: "Our coach Dave Titmuss is very big on loyalty and togetherness. "The fact that Sherrad stayed loyal to his coach at college can only be a big plus for us." Sweetman-Hicks added: "Whilst his journey to the BBL has not followed the established route, we are convinced that he can play at this level. "His lightning speed and accurate three-point shooting will make him a genuine threat in this league, and his all-round game will help those around him to reach their full potential."
