MK Lions coach Vince Macaulay has been named coach of the season for leading the club to the BBL Cup and play-offs.
The Lions face Newcastle on Saturday in the semi-finals after finishing fourth.
He told BBC Three Counties Radio: "I didn't set out to be coach of the year or even think about the award. I am very delighted and over the moon.
"We're going to play against the best team in the country [Newcastle], because they won the league, just as we had to beat them in the BBL Cup final."
