The first weekend of the Swagelok Isle of Man Swimming Championships saw two new island records and a host of Island Games consideration times at the NSC.
In the 100m individual medley heats, 15-year-old Heather Miller set a new junior and senior record with a time of one minute 8.36 seconds.
The record only lasted until the next heat as Olivia Rawlinson, 16, reclaimed her senior record in a time of 1:07:62.
Rawlinson then went even quicker in the final to set the record at 1:07:44.
On his way to claiming the 400m individual medley title, 14-year-old Tom Bielich set a new junior Manx record with a time of 4:49.08.
The Swagelok Isle of Man Swimming Championships will conclude over the last weekend in March and the first weekend in April at the National Sports Centre in Douglas.
Åland Island Games, consideration times:
• Tom Bielich: 1500 metre freestyle and 100m individual medley
• Olivia Rawlinson: 100 meter individual medley and 400m individual medley
• Katie Blaker: 100 meter individual medley and 400m individual medley
• Heather Miller: 100 meter individual medley
