Jarvis eager to thank Wolves fans

Wolves winger Matt Jarvis believes the club's supporters deserve some of the credit for their Championship title.

Jarvis, 22, is relishing the prospect of the trophy being presented on the Molineux pitch after the final game at home to Doncaster on Sunday.

"I can't wait," Jarvis told BBC WM. "I want to get out there, play the game, and enjoy the celebrations.

"The fans have been great this season and we want to enjoy it with them - it'll be great to give something back."

The former Gillingham midfielder will also be receiving a winners' medal for the first time in his professional career, adding to his personal sense of achievement.

It will only be when the fixture list comes out it will start sinking in

Matt Jarvis on promotion

"Unfortunately I've been relegation fighting in my career, so it'll be a special occasion for me, something I'll never forget," said Jarvis, for whom Wolves' promotion has not yet sunk in.

"It's going to take a while - everybody keeps saying we're in the Premier League but it doesn't feel any different at the moment.

"It will only be when the fixture list comes out it will start sinking in, I think."

Jarvis has scored three goals in 27 Championship appearances this season, including a priceless equaliser to set up the 3-2 win at Derby that all but sealed promotion.
