League One leaders Swansea City have agreed a deal to sign Gillingham defender Tom Williams.
Williams will complete his move to Swansea for an undisclosed fee when the transfer-window opens on 1 January.
The 25-year-old, who can also play in midfield, joined Gillingham from Barnsley in the summer following spells with Birmingham, QPR and Peterborough.
"He is a player we have been watching for quite some time," Swans chairman Huw Jenkins told his club's website.
