Oldham Athletic have signed French midfielder Jean-Francois Christophe on non-contract terms.
The 23-year-old joins the club after a trial spell and has gone straight into the squad against Brighton.
Christophe began his career as a youth player at RC Lens before moving to Portsmouth who then loaned him out to Bournemouth, Yeovil and Southend.
He joined the Shrimpers on a permanent deal in January 2009 but was released by mutual consent in July 2010.
