Oldham Athletic have signed Jean-Yves M'voto and Oumare Tounkara on season-long loan deals from Sunderland.
M'Voto is a 21-year-old centre-back who began his career at Paris St Germain, where he made 41 appearances before joining Sunderland in January 2008.
Striker Tounkara, 20, joined Sunderland from French Ligue Two side CS Sedan but is yet to play for the first team.
Both players have been involved in pre-season games and are expected to go into the squad to face Tranmere.
