Morecambe have signed midfielder Gary McDonald and striker Lewis Alessandra following their release by Hamilton and Oldham respectively.
Scotland B international McDonald, 29, has agreed a two-year deal at the Globe Arena, after spells with Kilmarnock, Oldham and Aberdeen before Accies.
Alessandra, 22, made 76 appearances for Oldham, scoring eight goals, after coming through their youth system.
The club have not disclosed the length of his contract.
