Mansfield Town have agreed a deal to extend the contract of Scott Gardner.
The 20-year-old, who can play at full-back or in midfield, will sign until the end of next season, with the option for another year.
"I'm delighted to have Scott here," said Mansfield boss David Holdsworth. "He's a good player who brings competition for places."
Luxembourg-born Gardner joined the Stags on transfer deadline day, having left League One side Leeds United.
